Debian (my preferred server OS, fwiw) released version 8.0 today. It
has PHP 5.6.7 built in. So, if you've got a bunch of servers (or
clients) with anything older than 5.4...time to get upgrading.

We're having a little party at php[world] in two weeks to celebrate the
release of D8. It's a chance to checkout the venue, mingle with other
Drupal and PHP folks, and see the expo hall. Did I mention we'll have
cake and refreshments too? Afterwards, we have an Open Hack Night to

Use apache solr to index and query the data, use facets to manage the
