Good news - the Intro to Watir class will be taught live online for
the first time April 27-28-29-30, 2009. The class will run from 10am
to 1pm Central Daylight Time (US) those four consecutive days. Same
content as our classroom training, covering Watir and the WatirCraft

On April 16 and 17, Bret will be teaching Intro to Watir in the
Portland, OR area. We were able to do this thanks to Keith Hamilton
and the good people at Transcore, who offered to host the class at
their facility.
We'd like to hold our next public class soon - in May, or June at the

Some related data... we've had a poll on the front page of the
WatirCraft site for a while now that asks who uses Watir in your
organization? there have been 129 responses as of this morning.

in the Pacific
The first public training class on Watir (including the new WatirCraft
framework) is March 25-26 in Austin TX. We're discussing where to
hold additional public classes after that. Portland OR has been
mentioned. Bay Area? Chicagoland? We're looking for suggestions
based on need.

The more people and companies that know and use Watir, the more
valuable your Watir skills become. I have been thinking about ways to
get more testers to try Watir, especially people who do not consider
themselves to be test
If you've been following along, by now you know that WatirCraft is a
major contributor to the ongoing development of Watir. Many of the
fixes and enhancements over the past six months have been a direct
result of Bret's 100% dedication to the project, and more recently the
involvement of Jim
