I know most of us like the black and white best, but of all the color
episodes is there anyone that stands out as a favorite?
One that comes to mind is Dinner at Eight, where Andy is compelled to consume
three spaghetti dinners in one evening. I love it when Andy tells Goober that

There is nothing better to relax a hard day than watching Barney scared out of

This is my first posting but I must say that I love Three Wishes For Opie
The whole thing cracks me up from Helen yelling at Andy to the end when Andy
and Helen are sitting on the couch and Barney busts in...though I have often
wondered why he just barges in...it seems a bit rude.

I agree it's tough to rank this category. My Fair Ernest T. would be up there,
as well as Barney's Sidecar. But I still come back to One-Punch Opie.
Barney's speeches, including the famous nip it dialog with Andy are priceless

Dear Listers,
Being new to this list I have three questions that may have already been
answered, but here they are. I love the one about the lady prisoners. What is
the name of the actress, who plays the one, who seems to be the brains of the

While I love all of the BW episodes and one of the funniest, to me, is
Convicts at Large, (Better phone him Al), I still get a hoot out of
most of the color ones as well, especially Dinner at 8 My favorite line is

Question: What's everyone's pick for the show's funniest episode?
My pick for No. 1 funniest episode is Mountain Wedding. It is Ernest T's
first appearance on TAGS, and the image of Barney dressed in the white,
frilly, bride's dress and his mannerisms therein are priceless and
permanently
This is my first post to this, hope I do it right.
My vote for the funniest episode would have to be The Pickle Story.
I just bought Season 2 of TAGS on DVD just so I could watch that one
anytime I wanted. It has a lot of hilarious lines in it - and I believe
it was Don Knotts favorite
