Last night at a going away dinner for a dear friend I was given a copy a of
the July, 1991 issue of Personalities magazine. This particular issue
featured the 50 Most Influential TV Characters of All Time. Not
surprisingly two of those honored were our beloved Aunt Bee and of course
Deputy

I think TV Land skipped the Man Hunt and the first episode where Aunt Bee
is
introduced. I didn't see either one.

No, they were skipped.
I hear that there are some mini-marathons planned for April 21-22, so
I gave my VHS tapes and my older DVD's to the Senior Citizen Apartment
Complex where I lead the Mayberry Hour. They were very happy to get them
and will give them a good home.
We are having a Mayberry moment in our neighborhood. Several foxes have
come down from the woods and are stalking
