Well the statue in Don Knotts home town is in a suit because they want him to remember as the actor. Not just one role he played (Barney Fife). And there was a statue made for Mt. Airy (mayberry) But it was destroyed. Because his home town wanted a statue, and they didnt want it in his uniform.
