Well the statue in Don Knotts home town is in a suit because they want him to remember as the actor. Not just one role he played (Barney Fife). And there was a statue made for Mt. Airy (mayberry) But it was destroyed. Because his home town wanted a statue, and they didnt want it in his uniform. So they wouldnt even let the man that made it keep it, it was destroyed. Isnt that sad? You think they would want everyone to be able to enjoy him!!!!!
