On the RFD series there was a City Hall which was the office of Sam Jones.
Maybe that was just the home of the Council Office.

First, what is with all those question marks that appeared in my last
post--about the education of Ernest T. Bass? I'm pretty sure I did not put
them there. Is my computer messing up or what? I
probably need to call the man.
Now, for my second observation. How many of you noticed that it was
I thought that the City Hall or Mayor's Office was over the Court House. 2nd
floor.
In a small town it would not be uncommon to have city and county municipalities
in the same bldg.
Sheriff Taylor was the law in Mayberry and the entire county cause Mayberry was
too small to have a city Police

I was fortunate to purchase Frances Bavier's leather needle case at a
Mayberry event several years ago. It came with a financial document and I
have both in a framed shadow box in my guest room, which is all Mayberry.
But I would have to say that my most awesome Mayberry moment was when Don
Members,
For those that don't know, and if you're interested, www.findagrave.com has
photos of Frances Bavier's grave. It's a fun sight. You can search lots of
Mayberry alumni.
