I have always been curious about some of the scenes in the show. Were the
Juanita' bits, as well as hundreds of other bits, written in or were they
developed by the actors themselves? How much freedom did Don and Andy have in
adding material to the script? And Barney, all of his cute expression

Anyhow, when I got back from a medical call, a color episode of TAGS

Paul,
Thelma Lou's house was a bungalo, on a sidestreet adjacent/behind the TAGS

As another TAGS fan in Arkansas, I've already challenged that "only"
part...When you find the card, maybe we could have the letter written from both
of us! By the way, if you don't mind my asking...what part of Arkansas are you
from?

I was distressed to read in the last Digest that Dennis Beal had kudos. I

Hey Dud: Thanks for the links explaining where Thelma Lou's house was. The
investigative work was phenomenal and he should get the job as lead
investigator in the Raleigh Police Dept.

I grew up similar. 11 a.m. Saturday was American Bandstand (or Soul
Train), later in the day were Hee Haw & Lawrence Welk. These latter two
aired twice if you had cable. Once on KADN (now Fox 15) & once on WBRZ &
my aunt watched them both times!!!

Wow - a Rolling Stones reference on a TAGS site. Kind of a culture whiplash
thing going on. Sort of like when I was a kid, the family would ALWAYS watch
Lawrence Welk late Saturday afternoons, ALWAYS followed by Hee Haw. I suppose
that's part of what makes me such a well-rounded fellow.
