Last week I asked if any other person had been mentioned 5 times on Andy like Earl Gilley without actually being on the Andy show. Well someone said Sarah and Juanita. I contend that techinally both Sarah and Juanita appeared on the show. When Andy spoke to Sarah, and Barney spoke to

Lately I've been wasting -- umm, I mean spending -- a lot of time playing a silly Facebook game called Farm Town.  I named my character Rafe Hollister, since he's the most prominent farmer on The Show.  I'd been playing for about ten days, wondering if any of the other players would have a clue

Missing characters

Have you ever noticed when a major character is not written into a storyline they are mysteriously missing from important events? I am assuming this was a matter of practicality. If a major character is not written into an episode, why pay him/her for what is essentially a bit or walk-on part?

Bare Feet in Mayberry

There was the time that me and Andy and Barn and Thelma Lou went out to Finnegan Flats - I think that's what it was called - and skipped rocks and waded in the lake. Barney was a little shy at first about baring his feet in front of me and Thelma Lou, but Andy told him both of us had brothers!
