I caught an old episode this morning of Dobie Gillis (like there's any other
kind). The rich Chatsworth Osborne, Jr sang a little bit of Juanita. I also
remember Robert Young singing it on Father Knows Best. I guess they got it
from Barney...or maybe Calvin Cooledge.

There are few words to express the deep sadness we all feel at the passing
of Andy Griffith. Somehow, it seemed he would live forever, and of course
will in our hearts as the all knowing, kind, gentle Sheriff of Mayberry and
as the cantankerous yet loveable Ben Matlock. He gave us the gift

RIP Andy Griffith. I'm not sure if another single actor, comedian or
singer has made such a difference in my life. Someone who always stood for
what's right and wholesome. Andy, you will truly be missed.

I heard the sad news this morning just before leaving; I sniffled but ended
up smiling thinking he is having a reunion with Barney, Goober and the rest
who have already passed. Later on my sweet nephew in Texas called me to
extend condolences; that really touched my heart.

A huge loss, Andy made us smile without swear words or dirty jokes, Andy and
Barn could make us laugh by even a facial expression, he was a symbol of small
town America and most of all, friendship. RIP Mr. Griffith, you and Don are
angels in Heaven together now. Sad day for us though... :-(

I think Andy left us a message and a lesson in this paraphrase: The cage sure
