I recall an angry Andy in the b/w episode where he kept telling Aunt Bee to
call the man! Just call the man!
He certainly was exasperated with her that week.
I still,use that phrase today.

The celebration began last episode when we matched the episode total of
The Andy Griffith Show and continues this week the first part of our
interview with Betty Lynn. Mayberry fans know Betty as Thelma Lou but
Thank you Dewey for the link to the football story. I forwarded it to my son
who thinks this is so funny. I have it on a cd with some more of Andy's
funnies.

My wife and I do, too, whenever something needs repair around the house.
Which leads me to this question: What's your most-used TAGS quote or phrase?
We were at our 50th event this summer with the squad car and had an
interesting conversation. A guy came up to me and told me that his dad
went to school with the actor who played Otis Campbell and they graduated
together. I asked him where his father went to school and he said, Right
here in
The milk inside a cow's udder can be used as a substitute for moonshine in
case of an emergency.
Wonder if Otis knows this.

I rather enjoyed Alan Jackson's rendition of There is a Time as he stuck so
close to the original (minus a female voice); I especially enjoyed his
side-kick's banjo solo! I was surprised at his weight gain tho; as a chubster I
can sympathize. I haven't followed C/W music since my beloved passed
Black and White vs.. Color? and Andy's Anger.
Still it was all so real. No episodes contrived, all very true situations in
life.
I think the writers sensing the change of times, were doing their best to
keep up with it since the show was supposed to be taking place in present
times. As for
