I saw the post about the scheduled acts. Let me tell you, if you have never
seen James Gregory and you will be at Mayberry Days then you need to make it a
priority. He is FUNNY!! And yes, family friendly too.

My office is having its annual Christmas pot luck dinner (lunch, actually)
next week and it got me thinking. What dishes would I enjoy at a Mayberry
Christmas pot luck? We know that Aunt Bee won't allow fruitcake (on
account of a brother she had), so that's right out. Since the Morrison

Speaking of foods too hot to touch, how about those eggs that Opie had boiled
for 45 minutes in episode number one? Andy just picks them up with his bare
hands. Seems to me they would have been awfully hot to the touch.

Don't know if anyone caught this yet but I've gotten two vwry noteworthy
notices from TVShowsonDVD.com this week: the first season of The Andy
Griffith Show is about to come out on Blu-Ray and the first season of
Mayberry RFD is about to be released on DVD (April 8)!

Well, it's about time! Mayberry RFD will be available on DVD (season 1)
April 8 2014. I actually like Mayberry RFD more than TAGS, but I guess I'm
wierd (no comments on that please). Hopefully all three seasons will be
released quickly.

talking to Barney and Opie about not catching any fish.
