Wednesday morning on MeTV's MATLOCK, Andy (Matlock) was pressed into service
to direct the church choir. I may be wrong, but it seemed to me that they
sang the same song on MATLOCK as the choir sang on the episode "The Church
Benefactors".

Can't remember which episode but Barney shot the tire of the squad car.Andy did
let Trey hold his gun but unloaded it and explained to always treat a gun as if
it were loaded. Asa let Andy handle his gun when he was a boy, slipped through
his belt and tore his knickers.Randy in Indiana

I watch TAGS because it's funny, heartwarming, and takes me back to a simpler
time. In these over-sensitive and politically correct days, I find it
refreshing that gun safety was not an issue on the show. Nor was Opie running
around town unsupervised a big deal. Or, Leon for that matter.
Noticed this about the episode "The Lodge" Season 7, Ep. 2.
The Golden Door to Good Fellowship did not have a keyhole. Obviously the
huge key that Goober is wearing was just ceremonial.

So far, not one person has mentioned Asa, the bank guard and his moldy bullets
and his gun that falls apart when you blink an eye.
"Oh Barney, that's purty. I've heard about your bullet."
