I agree that it would be harder to bowl with the thumb injury on the dominant
hand, but I believe most bowlers use both hands. The non-dominant hand is
usually used for supporting the ball before it is released. Maybe the injury
threw off his timing or rhythm.

Maybe the bookie barber wasn't quite as interested in checkers or the latest
town gossip, so he had more time to devote to haircuts thereby allowing Floyd
to be on the sidewalk. Of course that would make the barbershop a less lively
place to visit. Just a thought.

I don't think that anyone mentioned when Andy told a series of lies to Ellie's

I saw the actual John Boy Walton, Earl Hamner, Jr. recently passed away. We
all know that Ellen Corby (Grandma Walton) was on TAGS as Hubcaps Lesch. Ron
Howard also made a guest appearance on The Waltons. Did the show share any
other alumni?

My husband and I were watching some of the TAGS marathon recently and we were
discussing how we often quote the show in everyday life. When The Sermon for
Today episode came on and as I heard the dialogue, it made me realize that this
is probably the episode we quote most often. He thought

In Oklahoma City we have a nice museum called the Oklahoma History Center.
They have a temporary exhibit at that moment called Oklahoma @ the Movies.
When visiting it I enjoyed seeing some TAGS alumni with Oklahoma ties, Ron
Howard, Rance Howard, and Dub Taylor.
