Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but when Robey Miller's little boy
(Jerry VanDyke) tucked the tablecloth into his belt because he thought it was
you-know, a-a-a-a napkin he broke the china on the table when it fell to the
floor.

Aunt Bee neither poured water nor dropped a vase on Otis' head while he was
sneaking around under her window. She had a potted plant in a bowl, and she
took the pot out and dropped only the bowl, which appeared to be metal, out the
window.
Here are the other three instances I was thinking of
I think I was wrong. Did Aunt Bee drop the vase or just pour out the water?

Well done, everyone who came up with answers to my most recent trivia question,
which was to name an instance in or near Mayberry in which someone other than
Ernest T. Bass is known to have broken something made of glass.
BTW, this is a minor point, but when replying to another person's comment

Barney swung his gun back and it the big glass pane window that the
installers were going to put in.
Barney used Opie's slingshot while he held a mirror and he hit the
bookcase glass doors.

here are breaking glass incidents I can think of off the top of my head:
- Barney, of course, broke the new court house window with his gun
- Barney shot out the glass of the book cabinet in the court house, with
Opie's slingshot.
- Cousin Virgil broke the glass of the same book cabinet
One breaking glass that Ken forgot to mention, is after Karen has broken glass
bottles, Barney walks up real close and breaks them with his pistol. Orville

New trivia question: name an instance where somebody OTHER THAN Ernest T. Bass
is known to have broken something made of glass in Mayberry. It need not be
something that happens on screen, the sound of breaking glass is sufficient.
