Miracle Skin Salve is an actual product on Amazon. Someone had the right
marketing idea.
I was curious, so I posted the following question, and did receive this
response -
A fellow customer answered your question,
Ray and I were in Sam's Club today and got trapped by a nice but determined
lady promoting a product called Miracle Aloe Cream. She extolled the wonderful
virtues of this product and certainly did make it sound like a miracle. It was
all I could do to refrain from using my Dr. Pendyke voice,
Barney and Gomer had to get rid of only 945 jars of Miracle Salve
because I have one of them. One of the clubs (I can't remember which
one) sold jars of Miracle Salve many years ago at Mayberry Days. Maybe
they they bought out the whole lot. It doesn't cure the mange but does a
great job
Ever notice when Opie is doing Rock-Scissors-Paper with Johnny-Paul to get dibs
on the customer, he gets paper and the other kid gets scissors.
Opie then says I win! That's not the way i played it :-)

I think I heard Barney say and her son did something or another. Would
that count?
I also bought some miracle salve to see if it really works on the mange.
Didn't help a bit. I did three applications and my wife
I also bought a large tin of Miracle Salve to give to my aunt next month for
her birthday.
Good idea, Albert. I hear tell it cures the mange.

A friend sent me an e-mail listing nearly 50 uses for WD40. In reading
through the list, my first thought was Shazam, this sounds like Miracle
Salve. I'd like to send the list to Dr. Pendyke for verification.
Does anyone know his e-mail address? And then, if it looks like we have a

Next time I'll stick with the gift every woman loves to receive: Miracle

Albert, you'd better get two jars. I expect you might get another Jenny
Boone special and will need your jar of salve to fix that bump on your head
and to take the swelling down around your eyes.

I was watching the Miracle Salve episode and noticed how polished

The closest thing I've used to Miracle Salve is Bag Balm - sounds similar to
your product, Ken. My mother used it for years and my Dad used to say. Well,
we're going to the feed store to get your mother's cosmetics!
I never tested it to see if it cured the mange
Wonder if it would help
Now if you folks want a real miracle salve you must try Dr. Naylor's Udder

I found a good use for Miracle Salve.

It is also good for waterproofing your hunting boots.

Ken, the secret to increasing your height with miracle salve is not rubbing it
onto your feet. Or your head for that matter. You take 4 jars, attach one to
each heel of your shoe and one to each toe of your shoe. Instant tall!

Another thing Miracle Salve will not help is shortness. When it first came
out I was just five foot five so I bought two jars and rubbed it on my head
every night. A month later I measured myself and I was only five foot four.
When I took the Salve to the boys down at the lab to have
Sure wish I would have known Miracle Salve is good for shingles. I just
spent $6000 having new shingles put on my roof. Maybe I could have just
treated the old ones with Miracle Salve and used the money to buy my wife a

Hi, don't know of any good shots of the jars, I think they were white with
white domed lids. The boxes were plain brown with black block lettering. We're
trying to get the jars and boxes as close to the originals as possible but the
jars are plastic not glass, safer and lighter too !!
I would love to have a pic of the salve box and jars , anyone able to snap a
pic from a dvd and send it to me.

I have spoken with the Miracle Salve Company and urged them to settle this
matter. They have agreed to pay a cash settlement for these very serious
injuries. I am sure they will have the money, because they received an order
for all they have from a couple of guys in Mayberry.

I've been thinking of giving my friends Miracle Salve this upcoming holiday
season. I found it to be the perect gift. Treats and heals burns, cuts,
cures mange, and loosens rusty nuts n' bolts. I also found that if you
place a wick inside a tin of Miracle Salve, it makes a fine burning candle
