In the color show, The Taylor's Go To Hollywood, I saw something interesting.
When they are having a big send off at the bus stop and the bus rolls up, off
in the distance I could see a big studio building and a busy freeway.I looked
up the 40 acres Backlot and could see the layout.Fascinatin
While watching "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs" this morning, I noticed that after the

TAGS fans,
I was watching the "Runaway Kid" episode and noticed that the building that's
usually the post office says "Hotel" in large letters over the door. Not only
that, but the movie theater says it's the "Mayberry Theater". I wonder why
those details changed later on.

In the episode, " The New Doctor", the map behind the desk is a map of Idaho,
and it's right side up. In previous episodes, it was upside down.

The most logical way this could have come onto the set was from was Andy

That is some good noticing Harriet. I enjoy that also.
Last night when watching Bad Boy Bailey, although I have seen the episode

I'm enjoying the color episodes I haven't seen in quite a while and
thanks to the series DVD's, noticed two new items. In the opening
shot of "The Statue" the camera has a close-up of Howard's arm with
Andy's gavel in his hand sitting at Andy's desk and if you look
closely, there's a thin telep
In "Man in a Hurry" I noticed something. When Mr. Tucked goes to find Andy at
the church, the long camera shot of them showed houses in the background. The
upclose shot of them had downtown buildings in the background.
"I wonder what causes that?"

Has anyone noticed the opening scenes for "The Manicurist" and "The Jinx" are
identical?
Both show the backsides of a couple (Looks like Tom Jacobs and a lady) walking
past Floyd's barber shop with the sign and pole prominently displayed and with
that same generic music cue.
I think that qual

After a long time of listening to all the wonderful "Trained Noticers" out

I was watching Opies Charity today on the marathon and noticed something I have
never seen before, although I am sure most people on this list have!
When Andy is walking Tom Silby out his door at home, there is a picture on the
wall of a woman. Is this supposed to be Opie's mother?

I noticed in our local paper the other day a list of bands playing at a local

Recently watched "The Pickle Story" and was thinking that Aunt Bee had
intentions of hopefully entering the contest. It was too coincidental that she
just happened to make a batch right before the contest.I think she hoped the
boys would like them and then she would feel comfortable entering them
Didn't our fat little mayor's daughter Josephine, aka Lydia, wear
glasses when she sang "Flow Gently Sweet Afton"? And when Floss was
looking out over the crowd at the reunion she said, "Isn't it a nice
party?" Then she put on her glasses and said, "Oh, it is, it is!"

I was watching the TAGS last nite when Goober has the gas station prizes and

"If I Had A 1/4 Million" is a great episode for noticing. In one scene, Barney,

A question for the trained noticers: Is it me, or does anyone else

recall seeing it there, and there's a photo from the Star Trek series

TTown, you didn't cause any problems. You're new to the digest. You'll find

I've noticed a lot of the calendars that were mentioned and the bills and

Hey Les, I did notice the sign saying "DICED CREAM".
I also noticed in the Christmas episode that when Ellie has the eggnog and
