Every Mayberry fan remembers Gomer's wonderful rendition of Santa Lucia. When
that episode first came out, nearly every viewer thought Jim Nabors' voice had
been dubbed by someone else, since up to that time America had only heard his
silly Gomer voice and not his natural singing voice.

I believe Santa is an angel with a regular-sized sleigh that gets
replenished by God just like the loaves and fishes story in the Bible. And
time magically gets lengthened on Christmas Eve; we're just not aware of it.

had the impression that Aunt Bee didn't get a gift from Ben Weaver. However
watching this time I was reasurred she did.

I recently got a Dean Martin CD, and he sings Santa Lucia. As soon as I Heard
It, I thought of Barney's version. I Looked It Up, and I didn't realize that
