While watching the pickle story I noticed something for the
first time. When Barney is giving away Aunt Bee;s pickles to get rid of them,
they are still in the canning jars. They should have been in the store bought
pickle jars.

Well, lately I've been listening to a lot of Fibber McGee and Molly. I
found two episodes that the writers of TAGS may have gotten the idea for the
Pickle Story from.

This past week I had the honor of speaking to a group of senior citizens at
a former church where I had been a member for 20 years. Recently one of
their members who was known for her outstanding homemade pickles died, so I
dedicated my presentation to her and used The Pickle Story episode
