It has been rather quiet on the Digest recently, so I thought I would pose a
question to see if it might generate some discussion. If you could be one
of the wonderful folks of Mayberry and live their life in Mayberry, who
would you like to be? As for me, I think I would like to be Floyd
Thanks for asking. I think I'd like to be Sam's wife--he's a great
guy, farming at night so he can take care of me. We live quietly, just
outside of town in order to avoid the hurry and bustle of Mayberry.

Ken, I think I would like to be Laura Lee Hobbs over at the dime store.
When I was a little girl and there was such a thing as a dime store, I
loved going to Woolworth's. They had so many wonderful things for sale
