Hey thanks everyone for all the comments about stunt men, Hand models
etc. that was a fun topic and we appear to still have a mystery about
Don Knott's stunt double. I remember reading something in Mayberry
Memories, so I pulled out that book. In a larger beautiful picture of

With regard to the Untrained voice question about scenes
in TAGS that make us laugh out loud...
Mine has to be when Goober and Barney are watching Andy
and Helen on the Couch in Goober and the Art of Love.
After Andy starts to kiss Helen and Goober can no longer
contain himself by shouting,
What lines/scenes make you laugh out loud no matter how many times you
see it?? One of mine is when Otis is singing, then bawling, and when
asked what's a matter says The Old grey goose is dead!
Mine: Andy's face after he hears Goober's imitation of Cary Grant.

I have also been considering getting myself a complete Asa outfit and apply

security guard position if they would agree to stay open.? I didn't have any
problems finding things for my Barney uniform.? I even found a bullet with

Living here in Piedmont North Carolina I always enjoy the early morning show on
our local Fox affiliate WGHP TV in High Point. I was about half asleep this

it was one of the hosts joking around with Maggie Mancuso,
Does anyone know the name of the actress who played the liitle-old-lady
shoplifter at Weavers?
Yes, her name was Lurene Tuttle. She also played Annabelle Silby, the lady who
was so proud that she told everyone her husband was dead because she couldn't

However, it might be a real challenge to find some green moldy
bullets if I decide to do an Asa.
You also might have a hard time finding a Teddy Roosevelt horse pistol. Don't

In the process, I found his IMDB listing. However, no TAGS episodes are
listed in his work as a stunt double. But for his acting work, one 1964
TAGS episode is listed (not named, but presumably Barney's Sidecar)
and his role given as townsman. I checked the database on
A great new photo to add to the TAGS archives for all fans to enjoy. look at
the ensemble of actors in the Courthouse from 1965. but my eye shows me more
than the fact Schwamp and older brother are pictured at opposite ends.
Goober towers over everyone. look at the look on Schwamp's face one of
Little House on the Prarie caught me off guard. No it was Lurene Tuttle in
Weavers Dept Store not Mrs.Lesh Ellen Corby. Lurene died at 78 in 1986. We
know her also from Pycho 1960 and Life With Father series in 1953. We all
make mistakes.Thats why I look the way i do. Bless you all.Tom Kessel
Thanks Joe for the mention of Tom Kessel's friend, Mr. Schwamp's Brother, in
yet another black white episode. Below is a link to a screen shot from
Barney and the Cave Rescue from Season Four. Just double click on the photo
