In response to Paul's hunting question, I submit this: Someone and Dixie
Belle Edwards (I think) went bear hunting (at the Great Dismal Swamp I
think). Sounds like a joyfully terrific place to vacation.
I believe the other lady was Mary Pleasance, who was the town notary public.

In the episode where Aunt Bee buys the car from Goober, in the scene
when he is teaching her to drive, anybody notice that the double they
use for her appears to be a man? Cuuuious.
Oh, yes! When I was doing screen shots of that episode, I managed to get one
or two where you could

Paul,
Does Jeff Pruitt hunting a wife count?
Also, I've always wondered why a nice guy like Ernest T would want to kill a
mockingbird (I guess technically that's hunting - I can use hunt in a
sentence too - No hunt beware open and close no credit!).

Barney and Gomer were hunting when they got lost while on the camping
trip with Andy and the boys. The caught the cooked pheasant! Andy went
crow shooting with Thelma Lou's cousin and also when Goober's
girlfriend, Flora, hurt her ankle. Goober was on a hunting trip when
he grew his beard,
YES! We noticed that it was a ‘man’ as her double. Also, you may notice the
change in dress from one scene to the next (the double, Aunt Bee) It’s
something that is easily missed.

Hey Folks!
It's been great to see so much wonderful Mayberry related conversation
going on here on the Digest and I don't want to curb it at all.
I do, however, want to remind townsfolk to be careful not to quote the
entire WBMUTBB Digest to which you're replying.
Many of you have e-mail

Didn't Andy say something to Barney about shooting some rats at the dump? Does
that
Here is a new trivia question for your potential amusement: name an animal that
folks from Mayberry are known to hunt.
Shooting, trapping, or even snatching with bare hands all qualify as hunting.
Fishing does not count, we've already covered that topic.
To be considered correct, you must
Now that this characters playing other characters thread seems to have wound
down, I will share what I thought would have been the most obvious one: Barney
playing Santa Claus. I don't recall anyone mentioning that one; if they did I
missed it.

I caught up after missing last week's episode, and laughed at the Matlock
and Barney Fife references, knowing that Paul Mulik had mentioned them.
Then I watched the new episode, and Jimmy/Saul said Nip it in the bud in
one scene. Obviously he (and/or the writers) is a fan of TAGS.
