Just wondering.....
When I watched the episode "Andy and the New Mayor" last night, I noticed something that I've missed before. About halfway through the episode, when Andy and Barney are talking inside the courthouse to the right of the door, in the background, hanging on the wall, there is what appears to be some type of Federal government certificate, with the eagle on top and a gold seal on the bottom. I don't recall seeing this in any other episode. It looks very similar to the Honorable Discharge certificate my father received after his World War II service. In the episode Ellie saves a female which was on our local CBS station yesterday. Opie comes in the Drug Store and asks Andy for a Nickle to buy a Candy Bar. Which Andy gives him and you hear Opie leave the Drug Store and the door closes behind him. Wonder why Opie didn't just buy the Candy Bar at the Drug Store? Also Francis (Frankie) Flint who was played by Edris March, a unusual name to say the least, evidently never had another acting role, that was her only one. Just wondering
I was just wondering after watching the episode of andy griffith, when they were looking for a new church organ. The scene I'm wondering about is just after the episode starts, it shows andy, opie, and aunt bee getting ready for church. After andy is adjusting his tie, opie helps and is adjusting it also. The next scene shows opie hanging onto andy's right forearm, with both his arms and hands. There's no indication why this happens. I wonder if opie was about to possibly fall and grabbed onto andys arm? It just struck me strange that this one scene was in the episode. It gave no prior reason for this action. Just wondering. In the episode where Aunt Bee soloes,I wonder why at first she covered her eyes when they got off the ground.She also remarked about high they were flying. If memory serves me correctly ,she,Clara, and Myrtle had flown to Mexico.Therefore,I do not understand why she was so apprehensive while Mr. McDonald was piloting the aircraft.Just curious.
