Thanks to Linda and the crew at Jupitermedia for supporting the wdvltalk
list. I know that I mostly lurk but it has been of value.
I'll join the new list though under a new name, Violet Bliss Dietz, rather
than Ann Dietz. (It's a long story.)
And I didn't know there was a social offshoot
I've been using jquery lately.

For those of us without regular access to UK news, does anyone have a link
to an article which explains the basics of what happened and when it was
discovered, etc.?

Riva,
I'm going to add my 2 cents worth on one point though in general, I agree
with Deb and Ross. If you do continue to work with them, insist on a better
picture. The out of focus one they've given you looks horrid as a web page
and it will totally detract from anything else you do,

Hi,
I didn't spend a lot of time reviewing this site but I have to disagree with
Drew on the color scheme. The clashing blues would send me running as a
customer. I'd wonder if these guys' design sense was so bad that it would
also be reflected in their work.

Believe it or not, they're mostly hard-coded html. There are a few pdf's in

before loading in a database unless someone has some other good ideas!

Hi,
I have a client that's asked for a re-do on a fairly sizable website. (The
current navigation structure is horrid.) I'm not happy with what I have for
a contract.
Does anyone have some sample contracts that they'd be willing to share?
TIA,

I've done some investigation of the Scoop and Drupal software which aren't
so simple but very robust.
I've not found a good comparison of blog software thus far though I'd be
very interested in seeing one.

Thanks for the welcome, Riva.
Joseph, is this for a personal blog or do you need something more robust for
an organization or company type client?
