Riva, I'm going to add my 2 cents worth on one point though in general, I agree with Deb and Ross. If you do continue to work with them, insist on a better picture. The out of focus one they've given you looks horrid as a web page and it will totally detract from anything else you do, especially if it's the full page background.

In my opinion it'll make their image look a thousand bucks, plus it'll get the "ooh we look like Microsoft, so that MUST mean we're fantastic" mentality going (which is a nice trick to remember to get design-oblivious or awkward clients happy in a hurry).
