I am creating some graphics for a website in Photoshop from print screen's techniques. They are in the *.psd format right now, and I was wondering if anyone knew which is the best format to create these in? They are print screen shots from http://www.permadi.com/java/spaint/spaint.html . I created

Depending on the complexity of the image it could be either format. The more complex an image is in terms of number of colors/graduations of color the more likely jpg will provide better results. But if you are using Photoshop why don't you simply try both and see which one gives you an image

Slightly on a tangent - There's some useful Photoshop freebies at http://graphicssoft.about.com , plus good tutorials on other graphics packages too - I've just been looking at masks for decorative edges on photos which I've earmarked as 'might come in handy' on other projects. Franni Depending
