Regarding the initial CMS setup: are we going to have one site combining the
information for LibreOffice and TDF, or are we planning to separate these
areas into two sites immediately? (I'd like to work on the information
architecture for the two separate sites, but won't be able to have it ready
in time for next week, unfortunately.)

If I remember correct, it has been said that at the moment the TDF can
stay on static pages and we will do the more user-focused LO-pages in
the cms.
(André or Florian may correct me)

Bye

Volker

Hi,

I would favour different sites, a TDF site which for now would be more
of a static site and the LibO site ... well ... it is pretty hot and
active right now. It seems to make sense for free up the TDF from the
LibO and then it can later undertake more projects with LibO under its
wing.

the Silverstripe site should be for libreoffice.org, so it's more
community and product related, rather than TDF related. :-)

I haven't seen details, but this seems a sensible decision. This will
give us the time to prepare a compelling Drupal infrastructure. Anyone
available to discuss this at the next DrupalCon in Chicago
http://chicago2011.drupal.org/ maybe?

...and then if the Steering Committee decides not to migrate we will
just fork again! (I'm joking, of course).

Hi Andrea,

I'm sure, we have the people here to come up with something that really
rocks - but this needs time (we all know this). Happy to see your
enthusiasm.

But - I even see, that silverstripe might be a long term solution
for some of our teams. My experience from OOo is, that no matter
how good your solution is, there will always be someone who has another
opinion (which is also valid).

...and then if the Steering Committee decides not to migrate we will

Oh - you should check the last couple of minutes from the voice recording.
Forking was actually a suggestion :)

(but ment as joke as well ;) )
