I would guess it will be WU ignoring archive data if rapid fire is enabled
- after all, as Tom said, they do say use one or the other and not both!!

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it but apparently when rapid-fire option
is selected the archive_post doesn't work or maybe WU don't take into
consideration the non rapid-fire data if rapid-fire report is enabled.

As is often the case, this is caused by bugs in the WU servers, so there
is not much we can do about it.
But, one thing you could try is to post BOTH Rapidfire, and the regular
archive records. This is done by setting *both* option rapidfire and
archive_post to true:
[StdRestful]
It may well have worked before but it is not now. Other services such as CWOP,
WOW etc are updated every archive period using data from the archive record
covering that archive period. Many stations report windSpeed in loop packets
but windGust is not calculated/reported (by weeWX or the
I can try but it was working before. Also the station is reporting wind
gust to other providers without problems. The only problem is with WU and
was working before.

Hi,
Try turning rapidfire off and see what is posted. As far as I am aware
Ultimeter stations don't include windGust in loop packets so rapidfire updates
will never publish windGust.
Could you also post the log from when you start weeWX, the startup log gives us
a lot of info about your setup
I just noticed on the logs this error message:
Nov 26 00:31:30 weather-bridge weewx[4401]: restx: Wunderground-RF: Failed
upload attempt 1: ''
Nov 26 00:32:35 weather-bridge weewx[4401]: restx: Wunderground-RF: Failed
upload attempt 1: ''
But the only missing data on WU is the wind gusts.
Just checked the data that weewx is sending to CWOPand its sending the wind
gust. So the problem is only related with the data that is sending to WU.

I did the debug=2 and looks like its not sending the wind gust data?
Nov 26 00:09:30 weather-bridge weewx[4247]: restx: Ambient: url:
Yes, I'm using rapid fire since the beginning and everything was working
fine.

If you want to see what weewx is actually sending to the WU, set debug=2 in
weewx.conf. This will put the actual URL in the system log.
Are you using Rapidfire by any chance?

My setup stopped reporting, after few reboots it started working again but wind
gusts are missing from Wunderground stats. If I check the local webserver the
stats are complete. How I can troubleshoot if the weewx is sending the gust
stats to Wunderground?
I haven’t changed anything on the
