The reason this does not work is because the Pi does not actually cut the
power from the USB port, it cuts the data signal. You can only cut the
power from all USB ports including the Ethernet port. This is the way

I used Matthew's implementation as it is already in the FO driver. I got
the values I needed to use from the output of "lsusb -v".
I didn't try to reset the station with the external application (bug-ctrl),
but can try that too.
