Thanks for the reply - i am used to using either Weather Display or Cumulus of old and both of those put out current conditions in a text file, so i kind of just assumed weewx would as well - so Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Overcast, Rain, Heavy Rain, Fog etc - based on solar, rainfall, humidity etc.

posting the log from startup until after two archive intervals would help to identify what is happening. have you set the station's archive interval to 5 minutes - instead of the standard 30 minutes - using wee_device? Otherwise you will be waiting for 30 minutes to see anything!! On

There’s a refresh tag that can be added to the html. As Andrew said, google for it to find the correct syntax. Or, use one of the AJAXy skins that does live weather feed — both MesoWX and Belchertown have worked well for me. Find them at https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki#skins
