Tom - I can't honestly answer that one. I do know that when I signed up to PWS something occurred which made me think that WU and POW (I'm sure it was those two) were one and the same thing, but I don't recall the precise details except to say that I now only submit to WU for simplicity's sake.

Umm, if you're going to just feed it to wget, you'll need to escape all those '&' characters. Try pasting the URL into a browser, then replacing "KCASANFR5" with your WU station ID and "XX" with your WU password, then submitting. It should say "success." NB: This isn't much of a test. It onl

Upload errors on so many different protocols sure suggests a network or firewall issue. On their PWS protocol page , WU gives a trial URL. What happens if you do a wget to it? https://weatherstation.wunderground.com/weatherstation/upda
