Looks like this is okay in 1.13.x. Testing in 1.13.1+dev, even in debug mode,
everything seemed to proceed okay. Tested in both local and network MP.

i tested with no debug in 1.13-dev one client, and after teh cutscene i get
teh the mp configure menu which seems to be the intended behaviour when a
scenario with allow_new_game=yes comes

I forgot to mention that I was testing with --debug enabled from command line,
it's quite possible that it doesn't affect a non-debug playthrough.
