I found a response to another bug report
that suggested using escape character before the semicolon. It worked
for me too!!
wget -m -nH --cut-dirs=5 ftp://myuserid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]://usr/local/tpfps/cc/gds/devl/a/\;type=a

wget 1.8.2 as built by default on UWIN 3.1 doesn't work correctly;
it always reports an invalid last-modified-date.
I traced the problem to strptime().
The workaround is to manually edit src/config.h after
running configure to change
#define HAVE_STRPTIME 1
to
#undef HAVE_STRPTIME
Relevant
that it is older/same
as the local copy and it is NOT alowing the content length to
'override' the last-modified date as it states in the manual.
Very strange.
D\wget.exe -m -p --ignore-length -Dwww.mysite.com -UMY-WGET

Bruce
