it would be very useful to be able to specify the number of columns in the
output table when using Special:PrefixIndex and looking at the code, this seems
to be a trivial addition. I can provide a patch if there's interest.
To support something like this:

It might not be because this is really an expert tool and those uncommon customizations (dash handling and stuff) effect everyone. In any case, I think it might be useful to lean on search to cut down the list of pages that must be checked. Lucene search and Elasticsearch both seem well optimized for a first pass you'd use to identify candidates that might match the regex. I suppose it wouldn't always be the right thing to do, but it might be nice. I like implementing this in labs because it could be a real performance drain on the production infrastructure if done there. OTOH, if we put the wikitext in Elasticsearch we could have it run the regexes pretty easily. The problem is that it's not happening in Scribunto, it's the underlying
Message classes that are doing this.
The ideal thing to do might be to remove mw.message:parse,
mw.message:parseAsBlock, mw.message:text, and mw.message:escaped.
mw.message:plain would continue to be available; this is the equivalent of the
{{int:}} magic word.

The file is now at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Adelaide_de_Habsburgo-Lorena_no_mirante_da_Quinta_Vigia,_1922.jpg, after being moved again to fix a language issue in the title, as well as to try to fix the vanished picture. The former uploaded version gives the error 404 Not Found The resource could not be found. Regexp failed to match URI: /wikipedia/commons/archive/2/2b/ Before reupload it was giving another, similar kind of 404 which I've not recorded. I reuploaded the file to fix it (gladly it was still available at the source), but apparently this may be some severe situation of database corruption. Former URL https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Charlotte_de_Habsburg_no_mirante_da_Quinta_Vigia,_1922.jpg also seems to have vanished, and when you enter it you get File:Archduchess Adelheid of Austria no mirante da Quinta Vigia, 1922.jpg instead, which probably is related to the file vanish. It would be convenient if the reference tool would autofill {{cite book}} from
a URL to books.google.com This is done in several existing gadgets on the
English Wikipedia and is especially helpful for books that do not have ISBNs.
