The only way to use the parser cache is to put some marker in it which is substituted for the appropriate page's length when the parser cache entry is retrieved and displayed. Once we're doing that, we may as well also check the user's pref and add a class depending on it, so we don't have to do anything in JS. Even if we solve this for parser cache, of course, it won't work for Squid cache. Having it locally uploaded on ndswiktionary would allow the local administrators to be able to change the logo anytime without having to get the developers. It would be more recommended to use this option if there is no representative from the wiki that is an administrator from Commons. it's used for remote but not for local, should be a simple fix by putting

It looks like the name-changing in this patch is stuffed into the AJAX license preview code... it probably belongs over with fillDestFilename or other stuff that's related to the filename getting set. When dealing with reuploading new versions over existing files, we need to make sure that the name doesn't get changed. Patch needs to come with test cases if possible; see tests/qunit http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:JavaScript_unit_testing for more info on our new JavaScript testing framework. Since it looks like this name transformation isn't currently applied on the PHP side either, if done here it should also be done on the PHP side.
