The css class successbox is also used in some extensions. Some have the same
problem strong\n$1\n/strong or even use explicit strongp.
The div id=mw-pref-clear/div with #mw-pref-clear { clear: both; } is
because successbox has a float:left.
mw-pref-clear is only defined in /skins/common/oldshared.css and
/skins/modern/main.css by Bug 19759 in r53457 and r54197.
div id=mw-pref-clear/div is not needed anymore because the following
mw-prefs-form has already the css class visualClear:

I have reverted r107006 (see r108002) since the patch does not seem to work on
preview.
Works fine in preview for me. The one exception being it wont work when
previewing a newly created page (or more specifically it will say page id 0,
because pages that don't exist don't have an id yet).
I personally think that behaviour is fine (After all {{REVISONID}} and friends
don't work on preview either). The only thing that I think needs changing is to
mark the page as vary-revision if the page id is 0 (since it will vary on save)

The link behavior will exactly match all other links on a wiki, once this bug
is fixed. Bug 30327 complains about this:
When the pointer is hovered...the cursor takes the form of an up-and-down
arrow rather than the pointing-index-finger form.
And that will be corrected when this bug is fixed, because then you will just
use [[#|Your link text here]] to produce links, and the link will work exactly
like all other links, with the pointing-index-finger form - if that's the
default that your browser and your wiki uses, as is normally the case.
Of course, pointers can still be customized on the site itself using CSS or
JavaScript, or by the user within the browser, once this bug is fixed. This bug
shows a starting point for a temporary workaround:

If you want your collapse/expand toggles to appear like normal (Vector skin)
links, put the following CSS in your MediaWiki:Common.css:

:visited parameter does not work with MakeCollapsible toggles because you're
not visiting anything when you click them, so your links will always look like
fresh, unclicked links. But, you can used that class for other things on your
site, so I included it for completeness.

See the individual label attributes for activity, activity-alias, service, receiver, and provider elements. The label should be set as a reference to a string resource, so that it can be localized like other strings in the user interface. However, as a convenience while you're developing the application, it can also be set as a raw string. On Android, that is through our app setting. This was using German, Portuguese, Russian and a third party Japanese keyboard.
