If I'm right, the fix for this bug would be to revert Roan's change to the
pcre.recursion_limit setting (and fix whatever PageTriage's problem is in
some other way), or at least turn it up to something more reasonable than
1024.

conservative.

The regexp recursion limit aside, is using a regexp to check for UTF-8
appropriate? Why not use mb_check_encoding() if available? Other operations in
Language.php do make use of the mb_* functions...

Yes I can confirm this bug. For me its the Align=center. It used to work OK
before and its messed up some formatting. It works on Wikipedia and it doesn't
work on a new 1.19.

is rendered on a new MW 1.19 and on Mediawiki.org as:
table style=text-align: center;
But it renders differently on en.Wikipedia.org:

Made summary reflect the request.
Note that this feature is unlikely to be implemented any time soon due to the
fact that the linking tables are flat and generated base on how the pages come
out of the parser. The origin of a file link is then no longer traceable.
It has been requested in the past to keep track of this information, but the
problem was so far that there are a huge amount of variations that it is hard
if not impossible to keep this in a reliable way:
* A template could use includeonly for the main part, in which case the
template doesn't use the file
* A template could use custom parser functions that are not part of the core
software (e.g. fooTest.jpg/foo , MediaWiki can't easily know what foo
does with it. Does it use it to embed a file? Does it make a page link? Does it
do something else entirely? Not to mention things like {{#if:}} which do it
conditionally
* A template could accept custom parameters from the article or meta-templates
in child-templates and constructing the [[File:]] embed in parts. e.g.
[[File:{{{imgname|Example.svg}}}]] or with a {{#switch: }}, in which case what
is and isn't use by whom is highly ambiguous.

When UNTRANSLATED = 0, OUTDATED = 0 set STATE to SomeState (proofreading on Meta Wiki). 1.4 When REVIEWED = MESSAGECOUNT set STATE to SomeState (ready on Meta Wiki). 1.5 When STATE = SomeState set STATE to WhateverTheWorkflowRequires (most probably proofreading in this example (This is used to remove state published after an update is made). Additional acceptance criteria: 2.1: When no message group state is found, the state is (unset). This means that there are no translations for a message group at all (UNTRANSLATED = MESSAGECOUNT, STATE not present) 2.2: Any user should be able to override a state manually (the ones they are allowed to set (bug 37142)) until another change is made to a message in a group after which the state is set based on workflow state rules. When the db error was actively taking the entire page on action=edit (a few minutes earlier), action=raw was also affected (as can be seen in the console in the screenshot). Try reproducing locally. As I said, I think that this patch cannot be accepted for Wikipedia because it may reveal the identity of an e-mail. But for a corporate Wiki as for any, more or less, private Wiki it is can be accepted routinely and is very useful. It is also a very simple patch which will probably last long without any change. I will provide an updated patch when I am back to France. Being currently in Taiwan, I realize how important it might be for Asian scientists to get two signatures, one in Chinese and another in transliterated English.
