Open VE and select some text 2. Click Hieroglyphics button Why can I apply hieroglyphics to a run of text, as if it was a kind of formatting? Doesn't make any sense. 3. Type some hiero codes (e.g. G26-t:Z4-A40) in the box 4. Leave the popup (by clicking away/clicking the button) The popup goes blank and can't be dismissed (Firefox 23). Also notice that no hieroglyphics are seen. 5. Review changes. The hiero tag successfully appears in the wikitext, even though it is invisible in VE. In order to analysis the issue, one would need a scenario that can be
replicated that would allow to identify the circumstance of the issue.
Doing [1] (as mentioned in the first thread) does not create the issue, which
means without a reliable, replicable use case there isn't much one can analysis
and since the store doesn't provide any unit tests (to have a yard stick as to
how and what is expected of some of the methods used to store and retrieve
data) it is difficult to make predication on what is causing this behaviour as
it pre-exists SMW 1.9.
For example:
- Does it only occur for a specific property type
- Does it only happen during a specific storage scenario
- Are any other extensions involved that would cause the issue
etc.

wm-bot could use a @link command to be able to create wikilinks to pages... It
should be able to recognize interwiki prefixes. It should probably use enwp as
a default wiki if not prefix is specified, with a @configure option to set a
default wiki.
For examples:

@configure default_link_wiki=meta_wikipedia

He then copied the contents of the page to a sandbox - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Marc_Kupper/sandbox2 - for further testing and these are his findings: It took 74 seconds to load the page in VE, I made the change, save-page, give a reason (wikilink - testing VE), save-page again. After 1:45 (105 seconds) I got Error: Unknown error in the lower part of VE's edit-summary box. The save-page button is grayed out. I don't think the actual edit I did matters. If someone wants to reproduce using my sandbox then the edit was in the last paragraph of the lead. Where it says ...Essential Art House, Eclipse, and Merchant Ivory Collection... I changed Eclipse to [[Eclipse (DVD)|Eclipse]] by double-clicking on Eclipse to select, control-K to bring up the insert/edit link box, appending (d to the link-to value, click Eclipse (DVD) in the list of offerings, and then press enter a couple of times to close out the box. I did a minor change to to the text of a page. VE did that change but also
broke a wikitable in the section following the one I edited. Related to this is
that while in VE the table was not displayed. In its place I saw {|
class=wikitable followed by the table contents though not formatted as a
table implying this is an issue with VE parsing the original wikitext. To
