Do note that adding additional languages has a barrier to overcome in the
additional complexity it would introduce for anyone editing modules in the
wiki: rather than learning one

The Extension:Scribunto page at Mediawiki.org presents it as: ...allows for
embedding scripting languages in MediaWiki. Currently the only supported
scripting language is Lua.
