In my preferences the language is set to English (which I absolutely don't
mind, I'd use English anyway!), whoever the drop-down menu to change that is at
least for me locked on that page. No idea what other ways

those customisation options there makes sense.

Is it that much of a problem to give people the choice which skin or language
they want to use? We've stewards no fluent in English who may would like to use
their language for better understand.
