For one reason...There are already tons of public LIDAR datasets with point
data down to millimeter.
I've even seen monuments and public art sculptures that have LIDAR datasets

As far as retries go, the attempts hash for wikidatawiki:htmlCacheUpdate has few entries with run counts no greater than 3. The onl incrementing code is doPop() in MediaWiki, the same code that made them go up to 3 to begin with. If the same job ran many times, I'd expect

The overall goal is a basic geo support. Since we only support points, we need to provide some fundamental utilities for the geo point handling. The basics relate to individual points (e.g. distance), and

I see conversion config for Q25267/degrees Celsius, which is normalized to itself (probably wrong). Kelvin is a SI unit, so it is right to have normalized value, but Q25267 should not be there. I think until we support non-multiplicative conversions, we should take

I’m confused about the status quo now… according to some sandbox experiments, there are psn: triples if the unit is Kelvin, or degrees Celsius (unconverted, in both cases!), but not if the unit is degrees Rankine. That just seems broken to me, but perhaps

Extension names do not need to be translated, but some wikis have internationally chosen to do so (including wikidata page banner which uses message key wikidatapagebanner-extensionnameTASK
