The errors do indicate connection to Blazegraph fails, most likely either because Blazegraph is not listening to localhost: or something in your setup prevents Updater from connecting

When calling ./runUpdate.sh -- -v -s 2001010112 --init it doesn't seem possible to connect to Blazegraph because the updater already runs?

So the logging I added only ran for 7 minutes, but already gives us some idea of the usage of this thing:
