To make the dataset (sorta) balanced, we automatically mark edits made by users with more than 1K edits as trusted and doesn't need review (Look at the Makefile) and wikidata is populated by bots (more than any other wiki) so if we want to achieve a dataset to review we need to either: 1- Sample 500K and autolabel most of them using the edit count restriction  and pick up the 2k for users 2- Apply the editcount restriction in the sampling. CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTION...I connected https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Q361812 to https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/T173949 and re-ran the experiment but it failed. I updated the module, still no luck, however when I added [[ https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Q361812=revision=1032719=1032718 | an inception (start date) field to the Wikidata item ]] the math module started to get pulled in.

All this module does is call the method [[ https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-Wikibase/blob/db5e6c729ea1de1e1f77f11265077ced828a13c6/client/includes/DataAccess/Scribunto/WikibaseLuaEntityBindings.php#L83 | formatPropertyValues ]]

This method seems to trigger the load of ext.math.styles in the mobile view.

Next step would be to replicate this on an environment where I can see exactly what's going on.

It looks like EditPage editRevId/getBaseRevision() and parentRevId/getParentRevId() should be equivalent until the edit is actually saved. They differ after EditPage successfully does merge3() during the save, at which point editRevId continues to represent the parent of the user's submission while parentRevId represents the parent of the content actually being saved.

It looks like EditPage's oldid and WikiPage's $baseRevId should be equivalent when oldid != 0. When oldid == 0, I believe $baseRevId should be editRevId. It more or less indicates the revision that was used to initialize the textarea.

The rev_parent_id saved should match EditPage's parentRevId. It looks like there's a possible race where edits A→B→C could have C's rev_parent_id as A even though merge3() used B's content.[1]

PageUpdater's baseRevId seems to be used as both parentRevId and oldid in different places. It's used like parentRevId to detect conflicts (and maybe in checkFlags() too), and like oldid in being passed to the 'NewRevisionFromEditComplete' and 'PageContentSaveComplete' hooks.

[1]: EditPage::internalAttemptSave() calls $this->page->getLatest(), which caches inside WikiPage.  Then mergeChangesIntoContent() loads the current revision via Revision::loadFromTitle() instead of getting it from WikiPage. Pre-PageUpdater, WikiPage::doEditContent() reuses that cached ->getLatest() value for rev_parent_id. Post-PageUpdater, DerivedPageDataUpdater::grabCurrentRevision() calls WikiPage::getRevision() which uses that cached ->getLatest(). I think @Esc3300's suggestion is good. Thanks @hashar for the insight. I am trying to do something along the lines of what you've described. Expect patches soon :)

ext-skins-submodules-update is to process submodules in all extensions which is probably not needed.

TASK DESCRIPTIONI have problem with lexeme L3529. I want to add two lemmas to it: "AK-owski" and "akowski" according to some Polish dictionary. First I created lexeme with "AK-owski" only.

CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTION...This makes the HTML document invalid and can confuse some search engines. The HTML structure of lexeme pages should be modified so that `h1` contains only well-organized [[ https://www.w3.org/TR/2014/REC-html5-20141028/dom.html#phrasing-content | phrasing content ]]. Note that `span` tags are valid phrasing content.

That can be a clear list of specific steps to reproduce the situation, as little details sometimes matter, so that nobody needs to guess how you performed each step, describing actual results and expected results after performing the steps to reproduce, providing a link to a public website where the issue can be seen, if you see the same behavior when you are not logged in, information about your web browser(s), MediaWiki version information (if it is not on a Wikimedia wiki), etc.

Ideally, exact and clear steps to reproduce should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret those steps) and see the same results. CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTIONIn the current state of the graph explorer, only outgoing links are shown. Allowing incoming links to be shown as well will make the explorer more informative. Showing both incoming and outgoing links at once will make the explorer too crowded so I've added a toggle switch which is used to show either incoming or outgoing links. I've also moved the toolbar to the top of the explorer, similar to the result browser, and I've added an extra button to show non-hierarchical layout. I don't have any tools but I have used the wb_terms table in Quarry a number of times. I am usually trying to select all terms for a particular language, all terms which match a particular regex or to count how many terms there are. Things like finding labels containing disambiguation information, finding descriptions written like sentences, finding terms containing HTML entities, finding labels which have namespace prefixes when they shouldn't or vice versa, finding misspelt words, listing the most common descriptions for a language...

I use the columns term_full_entity_id (or term_entity_id in older queries), term_entity_type, term_language, term_type and term_text.

It is usually not possible to use SPARQL because the queries are too slow and the timeout for queries in the query service is much lower than for Quarry. The solution here again is for people to modify the setup and not just use the example.

Users can remove the elastic search service from the example and it will not use the memory, and then to not load the elastic search MediaWiki config settings a localsettings/localsettings template file should be overridden with whatever config the use actually wants.

Lexeme usage is now present at https://grafana.wikimedia.org/dashboard/db/wikidata-datamodel (note: the data has just started to roll in, so you are looking for a point in the lower right corner of the graph).
We need to understand how to track forms. Will forms have a namespace?
