from that issue, though, a Draft namespace does sound like a
smoother workflow, as you suggest. If you can't get a canonical namespace
in, Wikipedia:Drafts/Page[/Version] might not be a bad naming convention.

Not all protection is in response to edit warring. First example to come to

a shift from notability to maintainability as a primary
inclusion guideline. Lack of suitable sourcing makes maintenance difficult,
because it's that much harder for us to be sure of accuracy and NPOV. If
nothing else, the two ideas might complement each other well.

Maybe we should stop reverting vandalism. It would improve our statistics,

to be clear, I didn't say anything in the post about experts having a
moral obligation to contribute. The moral part of this conversation came

Interesting that you deny making any personal attacks, and yet you

Anyway, you seem to have knocked that off lately. Thanks.

Where the clear intent of a photo is to reproduce a given text verbatim, I
should think that the original copyright on that text (if any) still
applies. Photographing pages of a book doesn't suddenly render the book's

dubious about its utility, but from a template standpoint it shouldn't be
too hard.

Sanity checks might work in a small community, but assuming a user has been
