Now that I am back home, I want to thank you all for your nice words. This
has been a long journey, but I believe that we finally arrived to a safe
place. I have a lot of confidence in Christophe and Maria, and of course,
in Katherine's leadership. Let's commit to support and help

responsibilities. And thanks to Christophe and Maria for taking on the
Chair and Vice Chair roles.
I also extend my thanks to Patricio and Frieda for your service on the
board including the time that Patricio has served
Congratulations go to Christophe, and also thank you for making yourself a
candidate. Your years of experience in the movement and personality are are
great asset and we are lucky to have you. The good news is that you have a

On Dec 28th 2015 I was removed from the board of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Many thanks to all those who gave me their support during the last
election. I have worked in the last six month to honor the trust placed in
me by advocating for our values, communities, and projects.

this. I understand it may not be possible (or wise) for Doc James to
provide that, but it certainly shouldn't be done for simple differences of
