Nice findings, if these things are included in our presentations during
Outreach activities, lot of misconceptions would get clear, and people will
definitely know more about it and love it.
Thanks.

Thank you Arnav. I think it is good when you have 10 sources saying
that with 32 lanes, the Delhi-Gurgaon toll booth is the largest in
India, but better when you have a picture of it.

You know, I'm really surprised that this is happening only in 2012.
I'd've expected it sooner, like 2010 or so.

back in 2009, I know, most of you would've forgotten, I tried

Hmm yes.
Also the code is now hosted at http://publictransit.in/ , So please
patronize public transit in your life, that will help that
domain/server/movement :P to be alive
Sure. I got confused when you said, Go Buy a Domain. It sounded like
Go Buy a Tomato, not like those are cheap anyway. Tomorrow morning,
people will be wondering what the two Srikanths have been upto.

hi Anshuman (is he there on this list or just on the wmin-members list?)
We did a Wikipedia Takes Mumbai in 2011. We're having a meetup on January
15, 2011. Do drop in and I'm sure we can do something like Wikipedia takes
Mumbai during that time. The proper meetup announcement will be made in the
The only major reason that my use of Commons has gone down is because I
don't think that I'd be doing justice to the article with a pic taken from
my camera (2 MP) of my mobile phone will be of any help. I do not
particularly like my own pictures.
Quite a few people have told me that having a
Prad, having a 2mp camera isn't an eligibility criteria here. My
initial set of junk came with one of those. I myself didn't like it.
But, I uploaded it as there were no other pics. A low per picture is
any day better than No Picture.

I like that first picture. It's too high a resolution for me though.

This is a pretty exciting project for those of you who care about offline
content distribution. It's text only for now, but very cool:
http://offline-wiki.googlecode.com/git/app.html
In modern browsers, this gives you access to the most popular
WParticles offline without any additional software.
Yes. The pictures which I upload come in the 2000 odd by 1000 odd
resolution. Which fits in snugly under 800 kb. There are exceptions
though.
