[Wikimedia Kenya] Wikimania

2012-04-21 Thread Abbas Mahmood
Hi all,

I am assuming that most of the Wikimania scholarship applicants have gotten
their responses by now. For those who succeeded, congratulations. For those who
didn't please forward me your name and I will try and explore other channels of
sponsorship. I will contact other chapters and affiliated organisations to
request some funding. I don't have any assurances, so please bear with me if we
don't get the desired results.

Thanks,
Abbas.

I'm allowed to do this but I would like your support in getting our
proposal heard, please visit

and if you can, please add yourself to the list of interested people in the
presentation.

Thanks again.

2012-02-08 Thread Kosgei Isaac
I would suggest that members start editing/translating articles at least
one article a month and so that we help each other incase of we have words
that are difficult to translate.
Further if you have an article that you would like to be translated into
other languages we can do a trade in with guys from other parts of the
world.
That is what I am involved in lately and it is really fun.
