Hi everyone,
Just wanted to inform/remind people that we're still having some virtual UK
meetups on Zoom. The next one is this Wednesday (the 15th) in the evening,
you can sign up and find the link here:

Hi all,
Just to remind people that we're still holding a virtual "London" wiki
meetup on the second Sunday of every month. Of course being virtual means
that geography is no constraint, so do join us from wherever you are. This
is a purely social affair: come along to chat about what you've been
The virtual meetups we've had so far on Zoom have been pretty successful.
There's another one happening on Sunday 14 June (nominally the "London"
meetup, but open to all)

Thank you Richard for the huge amount you've done for Wikimedia UK and the
movement. Congratulations on the new role, I'm sure you'll do a great job!
Best wishes to you and Fiona, and I hope to see you around on- and off-line.

It appears that the security certificate for wikimedia.org.uk expired
yesterday. Is someone from the chapter looking into this?
Thanks,

Happy New Year!
I've just added a few more to

resolutions this year is to edit more articles, there's plenty of
inspiration there, from Magna Carta to the BT Tower.

I didn't know such a thing existed. Very handy!
It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it on Google Calendar.
For anyone else similarly struggling: click the down arrow next to Other

It only includes a few of the largest/most active WikiProjects so as
not to overwhelm the template, but I did also give the full list at

It would be good to have anyone who finds the general area interesting

This sounds good, and I'd be happy to help out. Will be at Wikimania
