the information to the
relevant paragraphs.
I'm also thinking of adding a paragraph on the tools
and programs developed for Wine.

there are no cards yet.
The earliest I can get to that would be tonight. I'll probably go
climbing all weekend, so if they're not done by the morning I won't
get to them till Monday. I'll see what I can do. Maybe you could
use one of those decks you mentioned for development?

you like those too? I'll likely do them as a 16-color

. I've always hated saying something
like an implementation of the Win32 API for Un*x, it sounds
too technical. Emulator, while wrong in a technical sense, does
get the point across.

My idea is kind of a spin-off of that. I sometimes find that I want to
read
the entire thread of a story posted in WWN, or if it is something that
wasnt
discussed in a thread, but was like news about someone being interviewed,
I
want to be able to read the interview right away...

any
comments or suggestions for improving them? Any particular
people I need to interview that I'm forgetting? (I do have
some in various stages of preparation, and a list of people
I need to include.) I'll save Alexandre for last.

few issues. Lately I've been hardcoding WineHQ URL's as normal

to it on www.winehq.com.

I'm really not sure what to do about the Documentation status
as it has been brought up here before that MSDN has alot of Doc's
in place. I could change all the (Nonexistent) entries to Poor ??
Or if you know the Doc status just let me know and it will be changed :)
Any Ideas about this ??
they parse everything, but for people who post from more
than one account I have to know the offending names and have
sed fix it up.

Also, I am serious about the Latest News box. We need an agreement --
what about a patch implementing the idea, so people can have a more
informed opinion?
Here's my $.02:
I think the Wine Weekly News heading on the right should just be
changed to News. Instead of something like Issue: 162
Lately I've been finding myself refer people to the preview screenshots
page hosted at users.theshell.com, and was wondering when they'd be
moved over to winehq.org?
Yeah, that server tends to suck. Not sure what's been causing
them problems but high availability doesn't seem to be a
last weekend but haven't
tried it out yet. Looking over the web site I guess you can
download the updates separately:
http://www.taxcut.com/updates/02fedwininstruct.html
No idea if that executable will work under Wine though.

Follow the Archive link for the thread. If I remember
correctly there was no right or wrong thing to do - it
depended on the case.

For a while now I've kicked around adding interviews to
the Wine Weekly News. Basically how it would work is I'll
email a bunch of you some questions, you can answer as many
as you'd like, and I'll include the interview in the Wine
Weekly News. More than likely there will be a bit of an
email
This issue has been discussed several times. If you
dig in the WWN archives you'll find mentions of it
going back a few years. Much more interesting was
this post:

The approach is a shared memory wineserver.

If you're actually trying to hack Wine into getting it
to work.. well.. I suppose there's a lot of others on
this list that can help you more.

I've been meaning to put something together for a few days here..
shots to Brian isn't the best way to go about it as nobody knows who has
sent what. Have you actually got any yet Brian?
First, take a look at:

Quite a few folks have sent stuff in. Now,
Hmm, what is wrong with this picture?
What's wrong is you posted from two different
email accounts and the XML parser only matched
the last one (even though you'd posted something
like 25 from the other acct.) And frankly I just
don't care enough to bother fixing the stat script
to try to
, there was a posting back in
'96 or '98 about his involvement with TWIN.
Weird fact of the day: Miguel de Icaza was cited
as an early contributor to Wine.

It seem that at least some people are against it inclusion so I
wonder whether we should support inclusion of the patch or not.
I'd agree that doing it at the kernel level isn't the answer. You
don't want to abstract that information away from the user. Plus,
like Francois mentioned there's
