Just looking for what others are using for boxed cable shielded that simple or easy for customer installs. We use a certain cable now, buts on rolls, which is ideal for towers, but a pain in the ass for installs. I heard UBNT stuff is better, but the partners are upset from the BS from earlier

It is more a management issue than a remote employee issue. Get some sort of IM system that shows availability. (Skype, AIM etc) This allows everyone to know where everyone is all the time. If it supports video and screen sharing then even better. Be flexible on hours and focus on him more

I worked for a place that did remote employees.. Get IM called brosix it will let you do remote meetings and all that good stuff will also let you view his history remote..  Then get a good ticketing system that let's him put down what he did that day and sync every night  then if you ever
